For the Stir-Fry
- 1 lb ground beef
- 4 cups broccoli florets
- 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
- 4 garlic cloves minced
- 1 teaspoon grated ginger
- 1 small onion diced (optional)
For the Sauce
- 1/2 cup beef broth
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons oyster sauce
- 1 tablespoon brown sugar or honey
- 1 tablespoon cornstarch
- 1 teaspoon sesame oil
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- Red pepper flakes optional
Prepare the Broccoli
Steam or blanch broccoli for 2–3 minutes until bright green and crisp-tender. Set aside.
Cook the Beef
Heat oil in a skillet over medium-high. Add the ground beef and cook until browned. Drain excess fat if needed.
Add Aromatics
Stir in garlic, ginger, and onions. Cook for 1–2 minutes until fragrant.
Make the Sauce
In a bowl, whisk together beef broth, soy sauce, oyster sauce, brown sugar, sesame oil, and cornstarch.
Combine Everything
